Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers, no overthinking

General

What is bone broth?

Bone broth is a liquid created by simmering water with meaty bones, cartilage, and quite often with vegetables, herbs, and spices to enhance flavor and nutrients. An authentic bone broth is slow-cooked over several hours and is composed of collagen, bone marrow, and cartilage. It is known as an ancient food because it has been a staple meal for people worldwide dating back centuries.

How is this different from regular broth or stock?

Time and intent.

Bone broth is simmered longer to develop deeper flavor and more body. Ours is also built like a meal—protein first, with just a few supporting ingredients—so it actually tastes like something you’d want to eat.

Do I drink it or cook with it?

Both.

Sip it on its own, use it in recipes, or do a little of both depending on the day. There’s no wrong answer here.

When should I drink it?

Whenever it makes sense for you.

A lot of people like it:

  • In the morning as a savory start
  • In the afternoon instead of a snack
  • After a workout
  • In the evening as something warm to wind down

Or just whenever you want something that tastes good.

Is it ready to drink?

Yes. Just heat and enjoy.

No mixing, no prep, no extra steps

Is it shelf-stable?

Yes. Unopened, it can be stored at room temperature. Our bone broth has a 2-year shelf life from the date of production—check the expiration date on the package to confirm.

Once opened, keep it refrigerated and use within [5–7] days.

Can I freeze it?

You can.  If you’re not going to use it within a few days after opening, freezing is a good option.

What ingredients do you use?

Real ones.

Each broth starts with high-quality bones, water, and a short list of supporting ingredients like vegetables, herbs, and spices. No powders or shortcuts.

Is it organic / grass-fed / pasture-raised?

We use pasture-raised chicken and grass-fed beef and bison bones.

(Adjust based on final certifications/claims.)

How much protein is in it?

Check the nutrition panel on each product page for exact amounts.

No inflated numbers or protein “boosting”—just what comes naturally from the process.

Is this a meal replacement?

No.

It’s food you can sip or cook with. It can be part of a meal or a snack, but it’s not meant to replace meals entirely.

Does it have health benefits?

Bone broth naturally contains protein and other nutrients.

We focus on making it taste great first. Everything else follows.

(Insert standard disclaimer if needed.)
